Project Proposal Description

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer The Eau Claire Marathon is hosting 4 family friendly and holiday themed 5K races throughout the year to bring the community together and encourage physical fitness in a fun environment. The races for this service-learning project include hall-EAU-ween 5K on Friday, October 30th at 6:30 p.m., ho h-EAU ho 5K on Saturday, December 12th at 9:30 a.m. and xox-EAU on Saturday, February 13th 2027 at 9:30 a.m.

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer To organize, promote, and deliver running events that safely create running, social, and charitable opportunities in our community.

What skills are required for this project?

Answer Positive attitude and communication, job specific skills will be taught at time of volunteer shift.

4.

What are the objectives for the student learning and service?

Answer Community involvement and exposure to community based fitness opportunities.

5.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Must be available Friday, October 30th (4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.), Saturday, December 12th (7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) and Saturday, February 13th (7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.)
