Project Proposal Description

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer RICE LAKE - Various Opportunities at Marshfield Medical Center - Rice Lake. UWEC-Barron County Students can volunteer as a Patient Companion, Emergency Department Assistant, Information Desk/Escort, Gift Shop, Oncology, and more!

What skills are required for this project?

Answer Volunteers should have a friendly, positive attitude and enjoy helping people.

4.

What are the learning objectives for this project

Answer Students will learn how to interact with hospital staff and patients while obtaining their 30 volunteer hours.

5.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer We have volunteer positions available up to 7 days a week. We would like students to be able to work at least one shift per week if possible. Shifts are generally 2-4 hours long.
