Project Proposal Description

1.

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer Provide assistance through all move in activities. This may include move in parking, helping people move into the residence halls, Blugold Welcome events such as Tie Dye. May also include organization of other students working in the above tasks.

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer Housing and Residence Life promotes student learning and success through engagement in diverse educational and social experiences, and supports residents by providing well-maintained, safe, and inclusive communities.

What skills are required for this project?

Answer Organization, time management, customer service

4.

What are the learning objectives for this project

Answer Students will learn time management and organizational skills in regard to a large scale move in process. Student will also learn customer service skills interacting with students and families throughout the move in process.

5.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Have 15 or 30 or hours available between August 28 and September 1. Shifts are flexible depending on the tasks. Parking help would be needed August 28-3. Tie Dye help would be August 31.

Additional information (not required).

Answer If students live in the residence halls they would be able to move in a day early on August 27 or 28.
