Project Proposal Description

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer Wisconsin Public Radio is partnering with Blue Ox Music Festival and will be having a table at the 3 day long festival. This event will have different opportunities, which include helping at our marketing table, recording videos for use on social media and recording interviews with different music acts

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) is a civic and cultural resource that serves to inform, inspire, and strengthen communities throughout Wisconsin by providing high-quality news, music, and cultural programming. WPR focuses on delivering trusted journalism, local storytelling, and education to foster an open exchange of ideas.

What skills are required for this project?

Answer Interpersonal skill, social media skills, recording equipment knowledge

What are the learning objectives for this project

Answer To learn how to record interviews successfully. To learn the best way to shoot video for social media and to interact with the public and spread the word about Wisconsin Public Radio

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer June 25-27, times vary from 11 am to 8 pm
