Project Proposal Description

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer The Blugold Marching Band is a large organization on campus needed many hours of additional labor outside of its required meeting times. Students who are part of the student staff perform many administrative tasks and physical labor assisting the large group to run smoothly outside of their traditional requirements.

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer The Mission of the Student Staff is to assist with all logistical needs of the 400+ piece Blugold Marching Band.

What skills are required for this project?

Answer Flexibility, willingness to serve others, willingness to learn new tasks

4.

What are the learning objectives for this project

Answer Students will learn about operational needs of large organizations outside in and outside of rehearsals and performances. They will be able to provide services that help to administer daily tasks.

5.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Students need to provide work on rehearsal and game days outside of scheduled class periods or performances (immediate prior and after events). Additional work is sometimes completed on separate meetings.

Answer This task will be sufficient for all of Community Engaged Learning requirements at UWEC.
