Answer You will be working with QuickBooks to sort the finances of the start up.

What is the mission of the agency or organization?

Answer Our mission is to empower individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to thrive by providing accessible, no-cost therapeutic movement and exercise services that enhance mental health and overall well-being while encouraging independence.

What skills are required for this project?

Answer Attention to detail to keep paperwork in correct order Ability to sort though numbers to accurately report the finances Ability to work independent while receiving feedback Working with QuickBook

What are the learning objectives for this project

Answer Learn how nonprofits keep track of projects, events, and paperwork in an organized way. Strengthen skills in organization, responsibility, and project management that are valuable in any career.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer We will meet in person once a week. The project requires 1 day/week for 3-5 hours each week to work through QuickBook and work through the finances. Hours will be tracked in Clockify.

Answer Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological disorder usually manifesting itself in the early 20’s. Almost one million people in the United States have MS, making it one of the most common causes of neurological disability among young adults (20’s-40’s) in North America. The prevalence of MS in Wisconsin is medium to high and there are an estimated 20,000 people in Wisconsin impacted by Multiple Sclerosis.
