Project Proposal Description

Briefly describe the project and the community need to be addressed.

Answer This community service project will students to develop a greater awareness of just how valuable Childcare and Respite Care programs are not only to a community, but directly to families that utilize them. At this time when childcare programs are experiencing staff shortages, students involved in this project can be extremely beneficial to assist in day-to-day operations or with the groups of children: allowing staff more time to focus on individual children's needs.

Answer To advance the independence, productivity, and full citizenship of children and adults with disabilities.

Answer Likes to work with children, high energy, patience, caring & fun!

What are the learning objectives for this project

Answer Working with a special needs population will give students a deeper awareness of the mental health issues and needs that continue to go unmet in every community. Working with the children and their families will offer a perspective that may broaden the students understanding of this topic.

What are the availability requirements for the student?

Answer Our programs are open 24/7 so we can be flexible with hours that meet the students needs.
